Can wine help you taste language? Come find out at Poetry & Pours, an immersive experience that explores the way both wine and poetry can awaken and transform the senses. The event will feature a tasting menu of five seasonal wines from June, a natural wine bar in Cobble Hill, paired with poems hand-selected by local poets Sharon Lin and Stephanie Niu to highlight the sensory qualities, mood, and notes of each glass. Attendees with leave with a deeper appreciation for the ways that both wine and poetry can activate the palate.

About Us
Sharon Lin’s work appears in POETRY, The New York Review of Books, DIAGRAM, The Kenyon Review, Sine Theta, and elsewhere. She is the author of the chapbook Electric Heart and has taught workshops at Poet’s House, Land to Sea, and the Poetry Society of NY.
Stephanie Niu is the author of I Would Define the Sun (2025), which won the inaugural Vanderbilt University Literary Prize. Her work appears in The Georgia Review, Missouri Review, Hopkins Review, Copper Nickel, Ecotone, and elsewhere. She has taught poetry workshops with No, Dear, Yu & Me Books, and the Oregon Poets Association.
