This is not a step-by-step art class or a session where everyone produces the same piece of work. Instead, children are supported to explore materials, experiment with ideas, and develop confidence through process-led making.

Working within their own sketchbooks, participants will engage with drawing, mark-making, and material exploration in a calm, focused studio environment. Sessions encourage curiosity, creative thinking, and individual ways of working rather than copying or rushing towards finished results.

No two outcomes are the same.

What to expect

• Small group sessions
• Artist-led, process-focused activities
• Sketchbook-based exploration
• All materials provided including a sketchbook for each child
• A calm, supportive studio atmosphere

Who is this for?

This club is well suited to children who enjoy drawing, making, experimenting, or working creatively. It is equally supportive for those who may lack confidence in art and benefit from a slower, more thoughtful approach.

No prior experience is needed.
