Welcome! We're pleased to announce we are running a Clothes Swap at The Armstrong, Cossham Hall in Thornbury on Friday 9th October at 7pm to raise funds for Crohn's & Colitis UK.

Entrance is £10 and please bring 5 quality donations, you can then choose as many pieces of clothing, shoes and accessories as you like to take home! 

We will be holding a raffle on the evening with fantastic prizes (to be announced closer to the time!) Raffle tickets can be purchased on the night for £5 a strip. We'll be taking cash & card payments at the event.

All proceeds will be going to Crohn's and Colitis UK.

What is a clothes swap and how does it work?

A clothes swap is a circular fashion event where people trade pre-loved clothing and accessories they no longer wear for a 'new to them' item brought by other participants!

It's the ultimate shopping spree but without the price tag while helping a fantastic charity in the process!

Choose 5 quality items from your wardrobe you no longer wear to bring to the swap. This includes shoes, bags and jewellery. The golden rule is to only bring items that are clean and are in good condition. 

On arrival at 7pm attendees give their items to the volunteers and grab a drink at the bar. The clothes are then displayed in the Cossham Hall.

The swap begins at 7.30pm once all clothes are received and put out. Attendees browse the collection, try items on, and choose pieces to take home. There is no limit on how many items you can take home! Please bring a bag with you to the event. 

Refresh! After browsing for 30 minutes, attendees will vacate the room for volunteers put more items out. This is when our raffle will take place!

Back in the room for more browsing and selecting pieces. The Cossham Hall will close at 9.30pm.  

The Leftovers: Any garments remaining at the end of the event are gathered and donated to local charities.

Please note this is an event for female clothes.

Tickets are non refundable, but the name can be transferred.
