September Family Event

Join us on Sunday 20th September at Gnome House for our next Family Play Event! Our inclusive events, which welcome children with and without disabilities and their families, are thoughtfully designed to create the opportunity for all families to connect, exercise, play, learn and grow together, without stigma or awkwardness. 

This month's inclusive activities for everyone to enjoy are:

• COOK ME A STORY COOKING WORKSHOP (CREATIVE SPACE)  Inspired by The Pet Potato by Josh Lacey and Momoko Abe. Join Caroline to make a delicious Mediterranean herby lemon potato salad and special homemade dressing, then get creative by colouring pet potato illustrations and making your very own potato pet to take home!

• INTO THE SUMMER FOREST SENSORY EXPERIENCE (SENSORY SPACE)  Step into an immersive, accessible sensory adventure with Ananda and Rachel. Journey from golden sunshine into a cool green woodland, discovering rustling leaves, birdsong, buzzing bees and a cheeky frog before arriving at a calming hidden pool. Colour-changing lights, sound, movement, singing bowls, natural textures and gentle water mist bring the forest to life. Children are free to participate in their own way — moving, listening, touching, communicating, watching or simply being. Three sessions will run throughout the event and spaces will need to be booked in advance. 

• ACTIVE PLAY AREA Enjoy our wide range of toys and games; from train sets to sensory toys, there's something for all ages and interests.

• FITNESS & MOVEMENT SPACE  Enjoy our soft play, balance boards, spinning chairs, indoor inflatable, ball pit, rebound trampoline and more.

• TUCK SHOP  The Together Space Tuck Shop will be open serving children's snacks and soft drinks.

• GARDEN  An inflatable activity run will be in our outdoor space along with garden games and toys.

Please Note: this is not a drop-off event and parents/carers will need to attend with their child. All tickets include TWO parents/carers.

Cancellation Policy Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the event will receive a full refund. Unfortunately, no refunds can be given for cancellations made within 48 hours of the event.
