Moms Unplugged: Postpartum Support & Connection

Are you a new parent looking for a place to connect with other postpartum moms, access resources specifically for the postpartum experience, and be guided in group discussions with a postpartum professional? Join us for a postpartum moms group, specifically for moms with a child under 12 months old. We'll talk about what's going on in your postpartum journey and build community together. 

• This session is for moms with children under 12 months old. Babies are welcome! The Toyary is a safe, engaging place for the littlest among us, with baby toys and gear available for you to use during your session.
• Show up as you are. You're never late, and you're never underdressed, show up as you are, mom bun and milk-stained shirt and all. We know the postpartum experience can feel isolating, but with connection, resources, and knowledge building, it doesn’t have to feel that way. Whether you're dealing with the joys, the struggles, or the unexpected hurdles of the postpartum period, you're not alone.
• Light beverages and snacks will be provided. Preregister now @ $10/ticket or drop-in the day-of @ $15/ticket. 
• Enjoy a stroll along the bike path post-session. After this session, attendees are welcome to transition to a stroll with strollers or baby carriersalong the bike path behind our building to continue building connection.

This group is being run by Rachael Gallagher, a postpartum doula, parenting coach and fellow mom skilled in bringing together resources for parents. With an M.S.Ed. from UPenn and more than 20 years of experience working with children, Rachael is a seasoned educator and doula with a passion for helping others along the journey of raising good humans.

First time visiting The Toyary? These pointers will help make sure you find us seamlessly:

• Enter the driveway at 730 Eastern Ave., Malden, that is nearest to the rose bushes and police station.
• Park in the back of the building in the angled parking spaces along the bike path.
• Look for The Toyary logo on a black door that is facing the “Bike to the Sea” mural on the bike path.
• Follow The Toyary circles on the floor to find your way to our door. The Toyary is on the second floor, which is accessible via both stairs and an elevator—then, let the fun begin!
