After playing on the bill with Blondie, Mcfly, The Stranglers, Rick Astley, The Lightning Seeds, Crowded House and The K’s in the Piece Hall’ s summer series The Caymans released their debut single in 2024 which drew them local acclaim, even reaching national news after a segment in The Sunday Mirror and BBC Look North.

Described as ‘absolutely brilliant’ by The Libertines’ frontman Pete Doherty, their unique style of songwriting and imagery captures the hearts of fans worldwide. Luca (rhythm guitar & vocals), Euan (lead guitar), Jacob (bass & vocals) and Toby (drums) draw influences from their contemporaries such as Fontaines D.C and Wunderhorse, also encapsulating the sound and catchy hooks from bands such as The Strokes and The Libertines. which enables them to add a modern twist to classic indie rock creating a modern yet recognisably timeless sound.

Known for their experimental yet catchy sound, Robo from York stand out with a powerful blend of high-energy rock and unforgettable melodies. Infused with a flair for theatricality and the spirit of art rock, their music hits hard while pushing creative boundaries—delivering an authentic edge that's impossible to ignore.

The band released six singles across three releases in 2025 and, in completed their first UK tour, a sold-out hometown show in York. Most recently, the band have been back in the studio working on four new singles produced by Gary Powell at The Albion Rooms - the headquarters of The Libertines in Margate.
