Martial Arts released their new single Before The Fire in April, ahead of their Craig Silvey-produced debut EP From The Burnoff, set for release through 5dB Records in June. Based in Manchester but individually from all over the UK, the five piece met through university and mutual friends, before spending three years building their reputation through relentless rehearsals, constant gigging, and self-releasing music wherever they could afford to.

Martial Arts are first and foremost a live band, one whose songs are written with the energy of a packed room in mind — intelligent, political, and acutely aware of what it means to be in a band in 2026.
