Mapping Mistletoe: MistleGO! Project Update
Happy mistletoe season!
MistleGO! is a citizen science app which was launched to help us understand how abundant mistletoe is in the UK. The MistleGO! team are incredibly grateful to the many Tree Wardens who have used the app to report mistletoe sightings in the UK. The Tree Council is delighted to be joined by Oliver Spacey, PhD student at Oxford University, who will be giving us an update on this research. Ollie has been supported in his PhD by The Tree Council and Fera Science, who helped with the development of the MistleGO! app.
This hour long online session will include some background on the importance of studying mistletoe, an overview of the preliminary results of the survey, and a chance to ask Ollie your questions.
Book your ticket to receive a meeting invite. Please note this meeting will be held on MSTeams
