BNSF England's Strongest Woman 2024 - British Qualifier

For the first time we are proud to bring a weekend of England's Strongest Natural athletes. 

On Saturday 16th March 2024 we are welcoming the female athletes for a day at Dominus Strength and Conditioning who will undergo 5 events to be crowned with 6 of the top athletes for each category qualifying to compete at the British finals in Scotland on 23rd and 24th June 2024. 

Ticket sales end on Thursday 29th February 2024 and no further entries will be available.

Venue: 

Dominus Strength and Conditioning, 3 Stirling Park, Bleriot Way, York, YO30 4WU.

Requirements: 

• Competitors must have obtained a license from World Heavy Events Association, all information about this is available here
• Athletes competing within a weight class will be weighed on the morning of Saturday 16th March 2024 (times will be confirmed in advance) and competitors must weigh in at the exact weight category or below. E.g. those competing in under 65kg must weigh 65.0kg or less. Failure to make weight will result in competitors having to compete in the higher weight class or forfeiting their entry.

• under 65kg
• under 75kg
• under 85kg - please note this weight category is available at national level but it is not a recognised weight class at international level within WHEA. 
• Opens (85kg+)
• Masters (40+)

Events:

Event one: Axle deadlift for reps in 60 seconds.

Event two: Max reps log floor to overhead in 75 seconds. 

Event three: 15m arm over arm (seated) for time. 

Event four: 4 bag toss over a 4m target. 

Event five: Front hold for max time. 

Spectators: All spectators will be given entry free of charge. We hope you will support our vendors: coffee, food and sweets by spending your money with them, instead. Children and dogs are allowed but we ask adults to be fully in control (of either!) at all times and they must remain under constant supervision. If either become a distraction to the competition we will have to you to take either outside. 

Location: Dominus is 2 miles away from York Train Station and the city centre and has on road parking all around the local area. 

Photographer: There will be a professional photographer on site across the competition - how to obtain images will be released in due course.
