2 x taught group sessions + 1 x social session

Is this the right course for you?

Expecting baby number two or three and don’t feel you need a full antenatal course? If there’s been a long gap since your last baby, or if this is the first baby for one of you, we usually recommend our full antenatal course.

However, if you’re looking for a confidence boost and a refresh, our Antenatal Refresher Course could be perfect.

The course takes place in Wendover at The Village Midwife HQ.

What we cover

1. Two taught group sessions
We’ll revisit birth preferences and hypnobirthing techniques, along with any feeding refreshers you may need. There will be time to:

• Discuss birth preferences and birth plans

• Look at Hypnobirthing techniques

• Practise using slings (even more essential with a second or third baby!)

• Talk through introducing your new baby to older siblings and supporting them through the transition

• Explore any emotions that may arise

• Create or update a postnatal plan & discuss feeding 

You’ll also have plenty of opportunity to connect with other parents who are expecting around the same time and truly “get it”.

2. A relaxed group social session
Held at HQ, this session is all about socialising — for you and your older children. It’s another chance to build connections in a relaxed setting, with toys and refreshments provided.

• £249 for the refresher course
