Bucks Toddler workshops (1 and 2 year olds)
Toddler Workshops (1 and 2 year olds)
Toddlers are wonderful… and sometimes completely baffling. One minute they’re cuddly and curious, the next they’re throwing toast on the floor or refusing their nap with great determination. If you’ve ever found yourself wondering “Is this normal?”, you’re not alone.
Our toddler workshops are designed for parents of children aged 1 and 2 year olds, offering honest, practical guidance on the realities of toddlerhood. Across three relaxed 2.5 hour sessions, we’ll explore what’s typical for this stage of development and why your toddler behaves the way they do.
Together we’ll talk about:
- what’s normal in toddler development
- toilet training
- "fussy" eating
- big feelings and tantrums
- communication challenges
- sleep
- separation anxiety
- simple activity ideas to try at home
There will also be plenty of time for you to ask your own questions about anything else you would like to discuss.
The sessions are led by early years and parenting expert Robyn Asprey Hiscock, who brings over 12 years of experience working with young children and their families. Trained in multiple parenting approaches, Robyn offers thoughtful, balanced guidance to help you find what works for your child and your family.
As always, the focus is on evidence-based information, realistic expectations and a completely non-judgemental space where you can ask questions and share experiences with other parents navigating the same stage.
To allow everyone to speak openly about the challenges of toddlerhood and to get the most from the sessions, these workshops are designed for adults only, so we kindly ask that children are not brought along. If this is not possible, please do let me know in advance so that we can plan.
Because toddlerhood can feel much easier when you understand what’s going on, and why not use it as a perfect excuse for an antenatal or postnatal course reunion!
