Sponsored Spin-Yard!
On Saturday 23 March, families and staff will be spinning at Digme to raise money for improving the field at The Vineyard School.
Book into one of our two paid spin classes (accompanied children are welcome, with a minimum height of 130cm), or get sponsorship to put in as many kilometres as you can.
Adults, if you’re up for a real challenge can you spin for three hours straight?
If riding is not your thing - please sponsor the brave riders here: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/spin-for-vineyard

About Digme
At Digme, our philosophy is to help people make positive change, to be healthier, happier and achieve their best self. We offer a mix of fantastic workouts with our world-class instructors, whether you want to lose yourself in an awesome playlist or you love to train with data.
Our ride classes
- Classes are programmed carefully by the instructor so there’s a warm-up, a roll out phase, the main body of the class, and a cool down. As well as planning the programme, the instructor will select and mix the music so there’s a musical journey that matches the energy and effort build.
- We have screens where you can see your virtual bike riding up the mountain, in the peloton on a track, or wherever the instructor takes you. Backdrops range from snowy landscapes to deserts, and we even have one with deer that looks a little like Richmond Park!
- You control your gears so your bike can be as easy or difficult to ride as you want it to be. The instructor will guide on gears but it’s your bike and class experience.
- There is a Summary Board displayed at the end of the class, but this is for you alone, not ordered or ranked and is there just so you can numerically track your own progress over time.
New riders must set up a member profile on Digme's system. Enter your shoe size so we can have your shoes ready by your bike. You also enter metrics so our data system knows who is riding and adjusts accordingly – gender, weight, age are all relevant. You will sign our (industry) standard disclaimer as part of this process too.
Children attending
Standard DIGME spin classes are over 16s only but as this is a private event, children are welcome with below conditions:
- Children MUST have a parent or guardian riding next to them.
- Guardians must sign an industry standard waiver on behalf of the child.
- The minimum height requirement is 130cm so children are able to sit on the seat and turn the pedals comfortably. (Recommended Year 5 and up but it is very dependent on the leg length and fitness of the individual child.)
- Children are only allowed to attend the instructor-led spin classes at 2pm and 4.15pm. The 3-hour challenge is available to adults only.
- The instructor-led classes will be led by an instructor who has experience of working with children.
- Children will be able to leave the class if they are tired. They will also be able to dial back their effort at any point so they can re-energise for the remainder of the session.
IMPORTANT - Booking a class
When you have purchased your ticket, please forward your ticket confirmation to events@digmefitness.com and the Digme team will get you booked on a bike.
On the day
Please ensure you arrive at the studio at least 15 minutes before the start time of your class so that we are able to set you and your child up correctly.
We’re very excited to see you all there!
