Pianist Caroline Tyler joins the Haldon Quintet for an afternoon of passionate and expressive music, bringing together the brilliance of the piano and the rich sonorities of a string ensemble.

British pianist, Caroline Tyler, has given concerts worldwide at venues including the Barbican Hall in London, Martinů Hall in Prague and recently at AKM in central Istanbul. She works as a solo artist with City Music Promotions and Piha International, performing a wide variety of solo recitals and often including her own arrangements and compositions. Recent performances include evening recitals at St James’s Piccadilly, the cathedrals of Chichester and Edinburgh, and a double-bill of Rachmaninov 2nd piano concerto at St Mary le Strand.

In music education Caroline has spent many years on the examiner panel for ABRSM and teaching at summer courses. She adjudicates for the British & International Federation of Festivals and other piano competitions including the Royal Over-Seas League. A prizewinning honours graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Caroline was invited to collaborate with the newly formed Guildhall Session Orchestra on various new projects at Milton Court Concert Hall, and was the test pianist for Vive Arts and Yuja Wang’s new mixed-reality “Playing with Fire” project, launched at the Philharmonie de Paris in 2025 and now at the Southbank Centre.
