Free Workshop
This annual workshop is for artists to design and build a larger scale lantern for the River of Light Lantern Parade to be held on Saturday, December 7th. The parade theme this year is creatures and critters. On Saturday, begin building your lantern using willow, tape, and ingenuity. Work on lantern design, how to carry it, and lighting options. On Sunday, continue working on your lantern with papering and final touches. This workshop is free to attend. However, donations are gratefully accepted to help defer costs! Registration is required.
