Join the excitement of the River of Light Lantern Parade by marching with a lantern created by your family! This annual workshop is for family groups to work together to design and build a larger scale lantern for the River of Light Lantern Parade to be held on Saturday, December 7th. The parade theme this year is creatures and critters. Build your lantern using willow, tape, and ingenuity. Decide on how the lantern will be carried and on lighting options. Previous experience is highly recommended. This workshop is free to attend. However, donations are gratefully accepted! Registration is required as spaces are limited.
