Gifts of the Light: Midsummer Ceremony

Gifts of the Light: Midsummer Ceremony is an online offering from Reb. Deanna Vandiver at Ever Unfolding and Rev. Catharine Clarenbach at The Way of the River. Our observance of the lengthening days is for those of us whose hearts long to be more fully connected to the deep wisdom of Earth Time. We join in the dance of Earth, moon, and sun. We come together to celebrate the lengthening days and the strengthening light of the sun, and we seek our own hearts' reflection in that light. As the sun blesses Earth, so may our tender hearts, once rested and renewed, bless the communities of which we are a part.

We will share poetry, music, visual art, storytelling, sharing, and the communal support of witness during our two rituals, one at the start of the day and one at the end. You are welcome to join us in this observance of joy and hope, a day away from the crush of the news cycle and time to be with one another.
