For this Wee Focus, we’re celebrating Malbec — a grape that has journeyed from its roots in southwest France to become Argentina’s flagship variety and a global favourite. Known for its deep colour, generous fruit, and velvety texture, Malbec is a grape shaped by sunshine, altitude, and terroir.

Join us Saturday 7th from 1:00 – 2:00pm as we taste four expressions of Malbec from different regions, exploring how this bold, dark-fruited variety transforms depending on climate, soil, and winemaking style. Expect everything from plush and fruit-forward to structured and savoury, with layers of blackberry, violet, spice, and cocoa.

As always, this will be a relaxed, approachable tasting, complete with cheeseboards and plenty of conversation. Perfect for anyone curious about this powerful and versatile grape — or simply looking for a delicious way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
