We are delighted to announce that we have another couple of returning heroes as our next guests both who now have very important roles in the academy. This will be our 4th event at our new venue before the Wolves match. The feedback we have received from the previous events have been brilliant.   

Kevin Keen is our first guest for this event. He has been involved in the club during many different eras and in many different roles. Keen came through the academy and made his debut for the club in 1983 going on to make 219 league appearances and scoring 21 goals before moving to Wolves in 1993. Kevin returned to the club as first team coach under Alan Pardew and kept the role until 2011 working under managers Curbishley, Zola and Grant as well as being caretaker manager on three occasions during this time. After he left, he went to Liverpool under Kenny Dalglish and also worked at Reading, Colchester, Crystal Palace and Southend before returning to West Ham in 2019. He is currently our Under 18s manager. 

 Joining with Kevin on the stage will be the son of a West Ham legend and scorer of the match winner which ended Manchester United's title hopes in 1992. Kenny played for 5 years at the club from 1991-1996 playing 63 games and scoring 5 goals. Kenny is the recently appointed Academy manager at the club so will bring an insightful knowledge of our next prospects and how the academy is running and plans going forward.
Having met both a number of times I can vouch that both are very likeable and funny characters and with their former team mate Martin Allen's humour thrown in this promises to be a great event.

We will also have Under 18s Assistant Manager Mark Philips in attendance on his birthday! He is a massive West Ham fan that has made his way from the terraces to playing a crucial role in the development of West Ham's academy prospects, working very closely with Kevin Keen and Kenny Brown Jnr.
