Join us around the Farmtable at the West Hartford Wine Shop for a deep dive into Alberese, the extraordinary limestone-rich soil that has helped shape some of Tuscany’s most distinctive and age-worthy wines.

Led by our beloved Thomas, masterclass will take us beneath the vines and into the earth, exploring the geology and geography of Alberese and the way this remarkable soil expresses itself across the subzones of Chianti, Montalcino, and the Tuscan hills.

We’ll taste our way through Tuscany, exploring what happens when grape, soil, place, and time come together in the bottle. And, most importantly, we’ll taste with purpose.
