CELLOPHANE BY EMILY BLUE
MUSIC VIDEO | 3 MIN | USA
Directed by Zeltron2020 (Sarah Zelman)
“Cellophane” is a song created as a surreal parody of domestic life while simultaneously paying homage to the honeymoon phase of relationships. “Cellophane” was released on Soundcloud on 30 March 2018, and will be released April 6 via Spotify, Apple Music, and every other major music outlet.
This retro single, inspired by the sounds of Michael Jackson and St. Vincent, pokes fun at domesticity and patriarchal power dynamics in relationships. The song covers topics like possession and unrealistic expectations.

Directed by Lilian Manansala
Two friends with distinct personalities approach life differently; in this video, Bruno is the calm, patient lake to Natalia's competitive, driven nature. Dance is the medium that brings balance, reminding us all of the joy found in the simple moments.
This is a site-specific piece, shot "guerrilla style" in Highland Park. The dancers and I were very careful to minimize intrusion with the residents and their adorable children while they enjoyed their day at the local park.
