Branches Community Session

Welcome to our parent and child nature based play session!

Please come and join us for a morning of magic and exploration in our beautiful woodland.

Our session includes all activities as well as a warm welcome with a tea and coffee for parents.

Age range:

2 - 5 year olds

Tickets:

Tickets are booked in term blocks which are usually between 6 - 8 weeks. 
1 ticket per child over 2 yrs old. Siblings under 2 are welcome if they are in carriers or prams.

Attire:

Please come dressed appropriately for the weather, wellies and waterproofs are great for rain and dewy grounds. In the colder month we ask that all children bring gloves and hats.

Food and drink:

Please ensure any allergies and dietary requirements are on your booking form. Please bring your own snacks for your child as well as a named water bottle. We kindly ask that no nuts are brought into the forest.

Directions:

The post code directions have had various success in the past. However, it works better via Google maps than on sat navs.
Turn onto Red Lodge Road via Bulwick. This road follows around a bend to the right and you continue over the bridge following the road. Keep going and you will see our forest entrance. There will be cars parked along the verge. When you see our 'Wondergarden' sign you have reached the entrance of the forest, please follow the path through by foot until you reach our main site. 
There are no set parking spaces but along the road there are various layby points where you can park and then walk to the forest.

Terms and Conditions:

You are responsible for your child(ren) at all times.

This means watching them, guiding them, and keeping them safe.

The session leader is here to set up activities and support the group, but does not take responsibility for supervising individual children.

This is nature-based play with a range of forest school inspired activities, not offical Forest School.

Sessions are informal, child-led, and about exploring nature together. There is no formal teaching or assessment.

We ask that if you are taking photos or videos to ensure that only your child is visible unless you have prior consent from parents

Tickets

Tickets are non refundable and any instance of non-attendance for any reason will not entitle the ticket holder to a refund.

In cases of unsafe weather, for example heavy rain, thunder and lightning or wind gusts above 30mph, we may unfortunately have to cancel a session and offer a make up session outside of term or refund where this is not available.

Outdoor play comes with risks.

We will be around mud, sticks, tools, insects, uneven ground, or weather changes.

Minor bumps, scrapes, or stings can happen — this is part of outdoor play!

By purchasing a ticket, you accept these risks.

Clothing and preparation are important.

Please bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for you and your child.

Sessions go ahead in most weather (unless unsafe).

Health & allergies:

Tell the leader about any medical needs or allergies before joining.

You are responsible for managing your child’s medical needs during the session.
