Speaker Biographies:
Jane Hamilton has 25 years of experience at a senior executive level in major global banks, investment management and property corporations across multiple geographies. She is currently the Chair of Council at the University of Essex, on the Board of Trustees at the Institute of Cancer Research and a non-executive director of the Government Property Agency. She is also a coach to developing executives and previously ran a Management Course at RICS for FM professionals. Prior to these appointments, Jane was the European Head of Corporate Real Estate for HSBC. Before moving to the United Kingdom in 2009, she lived in Australia and held the roles of Global Head of Corporate Real Estate for ANZ Bank, Managing Director of Commercial and Industrial Management at AMP Henderson as well as senior property leadership roles with Jones Lang LaSalle and Lend Lease Corporation.
Jane has a passionate interest in good design and its positive influence on business performance, staff engagement, and the surrounding community. During her career, she has also been actively involved in managing: organizational change, talent development, and environmental sustainability and the promotion of diversity in the workplace. Jane has a Bachelor of Commerce with Merit from the University of New South Wales and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) as well as being a previous winner of both the CoreNet, Australia and New Zealand region, Corporate Real Estate Executive of the Year Award and the BOMA, Australian Commercial and Industrial Property Management Award.
John Flexen is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has over 35 years of international corporate real estate experience delivering space solutions across the retail, industrial, logistics and financial services sectors. He is currently looking at new opportunities, having recently relocated from Hong Kong where his last role was Managing Director and Head of Corporate Real Estate Management for Morgan Stanley in the Asia Pacific. He was responsible for an office portfolio of over 2 million square feet, managing the real estate cycle from workplace strategy to facilities management. Most recently, he helped to develop the Firm's global workplace strategy and managed the expansion of the Firm's back-office operations in India, including serviced space solutions.
Andrew Bradshaw is a seasoned corporate real estate professional, with extensive international experience across real estate, workplace, facility and project management. Successes include: leading real estate workstreams of major corporate acquisitions, spin-offs, disposals and mergers; portfolio optimization and disposal programmes; freehold redevelopment and disposal strategies over 1000+ acres; portfolio management and cost reduction across 40+ countries.
