10 years of TWT!

2026 marks ten years since the inaugural The World Transformed festival took place in Liverpool. A huge amount has changed since then, but TWT is still here. Join us in London on Saturday 28th November across Pelican House & Proposition Studios to celebrate this milestone, as we reflect on the past decade whilst looking forward to the next.

The Next Decade Assembly
During the day at Proposition Studios we will be holding a participatory assembly. This will be a space for our movement to reflect on the past decade, build on the pressing discussions that took place at TWT25, and then to look forward to the next ten years of struggle. During the second half of the assembly there will be a live performance of Nine Days (2026) - a new piece of music written by Lawrence Dunn, to commemorate the General Strike in Britain, which took place in 1926 and lasted 9 days.

The 10 Year Exhibition
At Pelican House, we will be staging the '10 Years' exhibition, featuring archival footage and photographs, a TWT zine, vintage merch and more. Throughout the day there will also be music from a few legendary friends of TWT, and the chance to listen to the assembly which will be broadcast inside Pelican House.

The TWT Birthday Party!
In the evening we will all come together at Pelican House for a night of music, performance, and a variety of special guests from across the British left. You may also have the chance to bid on some pieces of TWT history…!

Ticket Types

• Pelican Ticket (entry from 10am - midnight) - entry to Pelican House throughout the day and the party. This ticket does not include the assembly.

• Assembly Ticket (entry from 10pm - 4pm) - access to both Pelican House & Proposition throughout the day. This ticket does not include the party.

• Ticket prices are tiered as such - unwaged, standard and solidarity. A 10% discount will be applied if purchasing both tickets. This event will serve as a fundraiser for TWT’s activities over the next year, so please choose the solidarity tickets if you are able to!

Programme

• 10am - 4pm: The 10 Year Exhibition at Pelican House

• 11am - 1pm: Assembly Session 1 at Proposition Studios

• 1 - 2pm: Lunch available to buy at Pelican House

• 2 - 2.30pm: performance of Nine Days at Proposition Studios.

• 2.30 - 5pm: Assembly Session 2 at Proposition Studios

• 5pm - Midnight: Party at Pelican House

Accessibility

• Pelican House & Proposition are a 5 minute walk from each other.

• Proposition Studios is a fully accessible venue.

• Pelican House is accessible, however the exhibition space is located up a flight of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible.
