TWT21
Sat 25 Sep 2021 10:00 AM - Tue 28 Sep 2021 10:30 PM BST
Brighton
Description
The World Transformed will be back in Brighton this year, from the 25th - 28th September, to bring together the left in all its diversity, for four days of panels, workshops, games, parties and more.
The cost of running this year's TWT will cost us £100 / head. Luckily, thanks to the generosity of our partner organisations, we're able to offer subsidised tickets to our attendees. To make sure we're able to continue offering subsidised and free tickets to those that need them, please choose the ticket you think is most appropriate for you, given your income and circumstances.
PLEASE READ
- As always, this year we'll be offering free festival tickets to those that need them. If that's you, please email info@theworldtransformed.org with the subject line 'Free ticket' and we'll get that sorted for you as soon as we can. Please don't feel the need to justify why you'll need a free ticket - TWT operates on a no questions asked basis.
- Under 16s are welcome to attend this event for free and will be given tickets upon arrival at the festival - please be aware that proof of age will be required.
- When you buy a ticket you will be asked a few questions which will help us to better understand who is coming along to the festival. This data will allow us to make our future events as diverse, inclusive and accessible as possible. We will anonymise the data so we don't retain any personal information.
- Due to our own logistical capacity, we are only able to offer tickets for the full four days of the event this year. If you are planning on coming to TWT, but can only make it for some of the days, we maintain that you opt for a four day ticket at the pricing tier you think is most appropriate for you. There will be some one and two day tickets available on the door at this year's event, but capacity is limited, so we encourage you to buy your ticket now to avoid missing out.
- If, in the worst case scenario we had to cancel the festival - and because our government has refused to make Covid-19 specific cancellation insurance available for live events - we’d be unable to claim back the money we have already spent on it. That’s why we’re asking everyone who is buying a ticket to TWT21 to agree to terms that mean only half of their ticket will be refundable in the event of a COVID-19 cancellation, and the other half is a non-refundable pledge to help TWT overcome the financial risk of running a festival this year, and remain an institution of the British left for years to come. This non-refundable pledge is essential if we are to continue planning from this point on. We understand this is a lot to ask, and thank you all for your understanding in this difficult time. We promise to be as transparent as possible with you as planning continues.
PLEASE READ - TWT COVID POLICY
