FRIDAYS, Oct. 4th & 11th | Join our two-part class designed to transform your short story into a polished gem ready for submission to literary magazines.
In the first session, we'll delve into advanced revision techniques focusing on structure, character development, dialogue, and more. You'll participate in peer-review exercises to gain valuable feedback and start refining your work.
The second session will guide you through the submission process. Learn how to identify suitable markets, format your manuscript, and craft compelling cover letters. Final peer reviews will help you perfect every detail, ensuring your story is submission-ready.
Kate Busatto is 26 years old and separates her laundry. She holds a BFA in Drama from Carnegie Mellon and a Master of Divinity from Yale. Her work has been published in the US with Tampa Review, X-R-A-Y, and Interim: a Journal of Poetry & Poetics and in the UK with Five Dials, The Moth, and Interpreter’s House. Her work is forthcoming in The Threepenny Review. Kate joined the The Writers Grotto in 2023. She is currently at work on her first novel. Learn more at katebusatto.com.
