This beginner-friendly class will introduce you to concepts and practices for writers who want a simplified explanation for protecting your personal information and privacy while navigating the internet. 

By the end of this course, participants will:

• Understand the benefits of using social media in promoting your writing and work online
• Understand what doxxing is, how it happens, and how to minimize your risk
• Practice and participate in exercises in password security and safe browsing
• Gain hands-on experience in updating and maintaining privacy settings
• Develop good habits for safe internet use as writers
