James is a community member with an interest in psychedelics, who feels he has been called specifically to work with Ayahuasca. He has sat with this medicine several times over the past year and is keen to share his experiences with the community.
With psychedelics rising in popularity and many people seeking out these experiences, James is keen to share what he has learned so far on his journey. In the talk, James will share what he learned about the importance of preparation and integration, as well as talking about his personal experiences with the sacred brew, both in ceremony and how he feels it has impacted on his life. James is passionate about treating Ayahuasca with the respect and reverence he feels it deserves, and will talk more about this on the night.
Those attending the talk will hear from someone first hand about how they experienced Ayahuasca, as well as James' insights and learnings along his medicine journey.
As well as the talk, there are some other things happening, which you can check out below. Also, if you do not wish to attend the talk but would like to join us for socialising, feel free to select a free ticket instead. If you change your mind on the night you'll be able to pay for the talk attendance.

About the community
Our get togethers are relaxed occasions where lovely people meet and share their experiences of the psychedelic world (if they want to - no pressure). Even if you have no experience with psychedelics, you are still very welcome. If you're nervous, you're in good company - most of us are introverts and the society is extremely welcoming.
Accessibility & Cost of Living
This venue does not currently have accessible toilet facilities and they are seeking to change this in 2023. Until then, we are seeking other spaces to host events to ensure as many as possible can attend and that things remain affordable.
We have free tickets available for anyone on a low income, no questions asked. If you'd like one of these please email mcrpsychedelic@gmail.com.
Disclaimer
Whilst we'll talk a lot about psychedelics, we ask that you don't bring any with you to the meet-ups, nor solicit them from members. It's worth remembering that possession of these substances remains illegal in the UK and we want to make sure everyone who comes along feels safe doing so.
