The domain messaging feature of LibKey Nomad ++ allows libraries to deliver customized messages to users in the browser based on the domain they visit. It gives libraries the ability to provide instructions, signposts, reminders and other useful information for users.
But there’s much more to Nomad’s domain messaging. You can create advanced rules for various conditions like whether a link is present or not on a visited page and then label them appropriately. Or you could redirect users back to the library’s discovery service. And more.
Many libraries are using Nomad’s domain messaging service in clever ways to add value for their users to help in the research process and to avoid confusion.
Join Third Iron’s outreach librarian, Bridgette Comanda for a webinar masterclass on the advanced features of Nomad ++ and for a showcase of how libraries are using it. Perhaps it will spark an idea for your library.
There will be a chance to ask questions at the end, and the webinar will be recorded in case you cannot attend live.
P.S. There are 3 times/dates to select from on the signup page to accommodate people in non-US time zones. You will see those options on the next page after you choose "select tickets".
