On Christmas Eve, Ebenezer Scrooge, a cold-hearted and miserly old man, is visited by the ghost of his long-dead business partner, Jacob Marley. Warned to change his ways, Scrooge is taken on an extraordinary journey through Christmases Past, Present and Yet to Come. As the night unfolds, he is offered one final chance to change his future… but will he take it?

This Christmas, This Is My Theatre celebrates its 10th anniversary with a very special reimagining of the production that has become a firm festive favourite.

Performed in the magnificent surroundings of Lancing College, this atmospheric new staging brings Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol vividly to life, drawing extensively from Dickens’ original text to tell the story with all the humour, darkness, warmth and humanity of the much-loved novel.

Filled with traditional Christmas carols woven throughout the story, this production combines Dickens’ unforgettable characters and timeless words with music and theatrical storytelling to create a wonderfully evocative celebration of Christmas.

Note: Many of our historic venues are without heating and can therefore be cold in all seasons so please dress warmly.

• Parking: There is parking at the venue. Parking marshals will be on site to direct vehicles to available parking spaces. Due to the nature of the site, parking may be a 6–8-minute walk from the Chapel and may involve steps and inclines. Blue Badge parking is available but limited. Arriving early does not guarantee a Blue Badge space. If none are available, a designated drop-off area will be provided. For guests without a Blue Badge who have additional mobility requirements, a drop-off area will also be available.
• Loos: Toilets are available in the reception area, including a fully accessible disabled toilet.
• Seating Provided: Yes. 
• Food and Drink: A bar and light refreshments will be available in the reception area.
• Dogs: Dogs are not allowed within the chapel.
• Wheelchair User Access: The venue is wheelchair accessible. If you are attending in a mobility scooter or wheelchair, please check to ensure you have purchased a suitable ticket.
