WHAT IS BREATHWORK?
But do you really know the power of your breath? We enter this earth on an inhale, and leave on an exhale. And every moment in between we are breathing, and not often with intention. To harness the power of what we have inside. To intentionally breathe in a pattern that has the capacity to open up worlds for us inside. To help release tension, to down regulate our nervous system, to support the natural occurring healing in the body. It's medicine for the mind, body and soul. And it's all right here, inside!
Breathwork is a practice of using rhythmic breathing patterns—(I guide a a 3-part breath or conscious connected breath)—to support the mind, body, and nervous system in returning to balance, presence, and awareness. Through intentional rhythm, the breath helps soften stress, release stored tension, and reconnect us to ourselves. This practice works directly with the nervous system, helping the body shift out of stress and into a state of safety and presence.
Through the breath, we can regulate the body, quiet the mind, and create space for clarity and emotional release.
It is a practice of returning — to the body, to the present moment, and to ourselves.
Just a few highlights of the power of this practice :)
- Regulates the nervous system, helping shift the body from sympathetic (fight/flight) into parasympathetic (rest/digest)
- Reduces stress and anxiety by lowering cortisol and calming overactive mental loops
- Increases emotional release and processing, allowing stored tension and feelings to move through the body
- Improves mental clarity and presence, helping quiet overthinking and bring awareness back to the body
- Builds long-term resilience, supporting better stress recovery and overall nervous system balance over time
THE FLOW:
Together, we will drop into a ceremony to celebrate and connect with the energy of each specific new moon:
GUIDED MEDITATION - We open up with intention and ground into the ether with a guided soul journey. Always here to elicit deeper contemplation and inner power and light. This will take us directly into our
REFLECTIVE WRITING - Using prompts and instrumental music, we will drop into a subconscious writing flow to connect with intention setting for each particular New Moon.
ACITVE BREATHWORK - We will breathe in a specific pattern, with guided pauses, releases and holds for 22 minutes. This is a major activation!
DEEP BLISS - After the active part of our session, you will be in a deeper meditation than you might have ever been in before. Float away, birdie. You are free. Let the answers let. Let the feelings be.
INTEGRATION + GROUP SHARE - For anyone who would like to share any words, stories, or reflections. A beautiful way to complete the circle.
