NHS App Champion Training

This session equips health and care staff and community volunteers with the knowledge and confidence to support patients in using the NHS App safely and effectively. The session blends demonstration, guided practice, and scenario‑based learning to ensure participants can provide practical, person‑centred digital support.

The session covers the full NHS App journey: from account creation and identity verification, through core features such as prescriptions and appointments, to more advanced functions like viewing health records and using proxy access. Emphasis is placed on digital inclusion, safeguarding, and supporting users with low digital confidence.
