Elstead Village Theatre Improv Workshop

Tiger Tail Theatre is collaborating with Elstead Village Theatre to offer monthly improv workshops... for adults (16+)!

Join us to discover your playful side and learn the art of making it up as you go along. No scripts, no props, no costumes, all imagination.

Why improv? First and foremost, because it is fun! Things which are inherently delightful and joyous are always important in life. Studies show the importance of play for adults! But improv also teaches many skills which are applicable in other theatrical work, or even just in everyday life.

Each workshop will focus on one specific area of improv. Like improv itself, each workshop will be totally different. It is not necessary to attend all the workshops, as we will go over the basic rules of improv in each one.

No previous acting experience or improvisation experience required.

Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing.

The venue is wheelchair accessible. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss any specific access requirements.

As these workshops are hosted by Elstead Village Theatre, members are able to access a special price of £6 per person. Please only select this ticket if you are already a member of Elstead Village Theatre or a member of Tonic Choir.

The non-member price is £16.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online, but can also be purchased on the night using the following methods: contactless payment (debit/credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay), bank transfer (BACS) or cash.

Please don't worry if you haven't bought a ticket in advance. You can just turn up and we will sort it on the door!
