As the seasons turn and we move towards the darker half of the year, join us for a cosy outdoor gathering to reconnect with nature, community, and the changing rhythm of the land.

Samhain marks the end of the harvest season and a time of transition  a moment to gather together, reflect, and honour the natural cycles around us.

This is a colder-season nature connection experience, so we’ll embrace the season in a way that keeps us warm and comfortable. We’ll begin with a gentle but energising walk through the landscape, taking time to notice the autumn colours, the changing trees, and the feeling of the land as it prepares for winter.

Along the way, we’ll include a shorter Forest bathing session, with simple sensory practices and moments of mindful connection. Unlike our warmer-season sessions, we won’t spend long periods sitting still we’ll keep moving, exploring, and allowing nature to guide us. When we do pause and slow down, we’ll return to the warmth of the fire afterwards.

Once gathered around the fire, we’ll enjoy a comforting homemade pumpkin squash soup, warm drinks, and time to connect with others. This is a space to share stories, meet like-minded people, and enjoy the simple pleasure of gathering outdoors during the quieter months.

We’ll also explore a seasonal wild harvest, learning about a plant that is available at this time of year, how to identify it, and how it has traditionally been used. Depending on what nature provides, this may include plants such as rosehip or elderberry. 

This is an invitation to embrace the season — to step outside, breathe fresh air, move your body, connect with the land, and gather around the fire with community.

Please wear warm layers, sturdy footwear, and come prepared for the weather. Winter connection starts by gathering together around the fire.
