Wax Ring Carving Workshop

Join Tilly at KASK wine bar and create your very own bespoke ring using traditional wax carving and investment casting techniques! During the workshop, students are guided through each step of the wax carving process. With demonstrations from Tilly you will experiment with mark making and shaping using a range of tools. By the end of the three hours you will have carved a totally unique wax ring ready to be cast in silver (or gold for an additional price). This workshop is open to beginners, no experience needed. 

Details:

The workshop runs for 2.5-3 hours. Once everyone has settled we will start by sizing your ring. You will then be given a practice piece allowing you to become familiar with the tools and materials that will help you create your design. Once confident on an idea you will move on to the final piece. 

By the end of the workshop you will have created a ring ready to be cast! 

Following the workshop, please allow 4-6 weeks for your ring to be cast in recyled silver, finished, polished and posted back to you.

Extra cost for casting in Gold - this can be discussed on the day.
