Mother's Day Candle Making Workshop With Tea & Cake @ Jolly Nice

Transport yourself back to science class in a beautiful tipi, with this unique Mothers' Day candle making workshop, run by specialist chandler, Hannah Thompson from Time to Burn.

Mums, daughters and every other candle enthusiastic is welcome for a different way to spend Mothers' Day! 

What Do You Get?

YOUR CANDLE: You will create your own unique Spring scented candle made with planet-friendly soy wax and pure natural essential oils. Your natural non-toxic candle will burn for up to 40 hours and will have a lovely crackling wooden wick! The scents for Spring will be focused on scents that perfectly bridge the gap between Autumn and Summer - from Sweet Orange to Cedarwood! Hannah's candle jars are 100% handmade using jesmonite and you get to choose from a variety of Springtime colours.

GIFT BAG: You will also take home a little gift bag, containing unique handcrafted goodies.

TEA & COFFEE AND CAKE: break for some delicious tea and cake bakes by the head patisserie chef at Jolly Nice, while your candles set.

Is there an age limit?

Anyone over 13 is welcome! Friends, family, mums and partners! All welcome! Please note this class is not appropriate for under 13s.

What do you need to wear?

It is unlikely you will spill any oils or wax as we are working with small quantities and you have all the gear to ensure no spillages! But in the event that you do, you're welcome to wear something a little less special, so as to avoid getting it dirty! 

Where is it?

The workshop takes place inside the lovely yurt at Jolly Nice Farmshop near Stroud.

Is there Parking at Jolly Nice?

Yes! Parking is free on site for guests.

Dietary Requirements

If you have any allergies or dietary requirements Hannah will be in touch before the event, so just keep and eye on your emails (as it may even go into junk!)

What do you do to prepare?

Nothing! Just bring your lovely selves!

10.45-11.00 - Guests arrive, get a drink and choose their candle jars

11.00-13.00 - Candle Workshop

13.00-13.45 - Tea and Cake (while your candles set)
