Transport yourself back to science class in a beautiful converted barn, nestled in the heart of a family-run working farm, with this unique Spring evening Candle Making Workshop, run by specialist chandler, Hannah Thompson from Time to Burn.
On arrival you will select your handmade candle jar, from a variety of colours (appropriately pastel coloured and light for the Spring season).
You’ll learn the art and science of candle making and craft your own bespoke non-toxic candle to take home by scent testing a variety of natural essential oils to create your very own scent blend that will fill the room when lit.
Hannah will teach you the aromatherapy benefits of the essential oils and all about the science of scent creation, and will teach you how to use essential oils with fragrance oils, just like the expensive professional candle makers do it!
You will craft your own scent blend using top, heart and base notes and blend the oils with natural wax to produce your own unique scented 40 hour candle.
You will also go home with a gift bag containing free scented handcrafted goodies.
Guests will also receive a free hot drink and delicious cake included in your ticket price, while your candles set.
Don't worry if you've never made candles before or are new to the crafting/making world! Hannah will talk you through every individual stage.
These workshops are for EVERYONE! All ages and genders - so come along and join us for some crafting fun!
