TAKE HOME: 40 HOUR CANDLE + CHRISTMAS-THEMED GIFT BAG

Enjoy a cosy winter's evening in a one-of-a-kind venue in the heart of a beautiful Christmas Tree woodland, in this all-natural candle making workshop, run by specialist chandler, Hannah Thompson from Time to Burn.

Experience candle making through a scientific lens: in this workshop you’ll dive into the art and science of scent creation, learning how to master blending to create a powerful, clean scent throw. You will marry natural essential oils with natural pure soy wax to make a unique 40 hour candle.

Hannah will teach you about the different types of wax and oils, giving you a good basis to go home and make your own candles. Or, if you just want a fun creative day or night out with friends, this class is perfect.

FOOD INCLUDED

YOUR CANDLE 

Choose from a variety of coloured handmade candle jars which we have hand crafted for the season - Christmas greens and golds, deep reds as well as some neutral colours for those wanting something a little more simple.

You will create your own unique Winter-scented candle made with planet-friendly soy wax and pure natural essential oils. Your natural non-toxic candle will burn for up to 40 hours and will have a lovely crackling wooden wick! The scents for Christmas are focused scents like frankincense, nutmeg, sandalwood and orange. But worry not - you'll have 18 scents to choose from so there's something for every taste!  

GIFT BAG

You will also take home a little gift bag, containing unique handcrafted festive goodies. 

FAQs

Is there an age limit?

Guests can join from the age of 14 upwards.

What do you need to wear?

It is unlikely you will spill any oils or wax as we are working with small quantities and you have all the gear to ensure no spillages! But in the event that you do, you're welcome to wear something a little less special, so as to avoid getting it a little messy.

Can you drink alcohol?

Yes! Drinks can be purchased from the bar!

Is there Parking?

Yes! There is plenty of free parking!

What do you do to prepare?

Nothing! Just bring your lovely selves! If you have any dietary requirements please email Hannah on hello@timetoburncandles.com at least 3 days before the event.

Timings for Sat 19th December

5.45-6.00pm - Guests arrive, grab a drink

6.00-8.00pm - Candle Making Workshop

8.00-9pm - Nibbles are served while your candles set. Have a drink, enjoy some nibbles, chat and relax.

9-9.15pm - Trim wicks

9.15-9.30 - Depart at your leisure

Refunds

If you're unable to make it, we will make your candle for you and you can pick it up from our candle kitchen in Cheltenham, along with your gift bag, so you won't miss out!

Please note that we are unable to refund unless the ticket can be resold. We will do our best to resell the ticket so do reach reach out and we will see what is possible. Unfortunately if we cannot fill the space we cannot refund the ticket. Note that if you contact us too close to the event (within a week) resale is less likely.
