Eat the Pomegranate - Explore the Shadow Within
π Shadow Self
Exploring the hidden parts of ourselves
23rd September |Β Small, intimate groupΒ
As the Wheel of the Year turns and we cross the threshold of Mabon and the Autumn Equinox, the days begin to shorten and we slowly journey towards the darker half of the year.
This is a time of balance β of light and dark, endings and beginnings, release and transformation.
And as the world around us begins its descent into darkness, we invite you to turn your gaze inward and explore the parts of yourselves that may usually be kept hidden.
β¨ Join us for an evening of Shadow Work, where we will gently explore what is rising within us at this turning of the Wheel.
We will call upon Persephone, Queen of the Underworld, whose own journey reminds us that sometimes we must descend into the darkness in order to grow, transform and return renewed.
Together, we will share the pomegranate, symbol of Persephone's descent and the mysteries held within the Underworld, as we consciously step into this deeper work.
Through grounding, guided meditation and sound, we will journey inward and create space to meet whatever shadow is asking to be seen, acknowledged or understood at this time.
There will be time for sharing and reflection, followed by the opportunity to create your own personal spell β a piece of witchcraft crafted specifically for you and the work that has arisen.
Your spell might be created to help you release something that no longer serves you, to bring healing to something you have uncovered, or simply to support and guide you as you continue your shadow work through the coming weeks and months.
This is not about judging the darkness within us.
It is about turning towards it with curiosity, compassion and courage.
π What have you been pushing into the shadows?
π What part of yourself is asking to be seen?
π What are you ready to release as we enter the darker half of the year?
Come and sit within the circle, beneath the turning Wheel, and explore the wisdom that can be found in the shadows.
A small, intimate gathering for those who feel called to delve a little deeper.
