‘One of the most important experiences of my life!’ This response from a participant in 2026 is very common. When we come together in a deep but playful way to explore this mysterious life it initiates a profound shift in our experience of being human … and that feels like WOW.

What will I experience? We are all unique so I can’t predict exactly what you will experience, but I can say from leading events throughout the world for 30 years, it’s very likely you will experience a state of profound oneness, which is felt in the body as the most enormous all-embracing love. This is traditionally known as a spiritual awakening. 

Who’s this for? A wide variety of people attend my Big Weekends; some come because I’m a philosopher and a fan of science, others because they know I’m a love-junky who’s interested in experiential transformation. There’s usually equal numbers of men and women of all ages. What they share is a sense of wonder, openminded curiosity, and a desire to make the most of being alive.

Do I need to be spiritual? I really don’t like groups where you need to adopt a fake spiritual persona to fit in. My Big Weekends are the opposite. You’re invited to be yourself in all your idiosyncratic splendidness, whilst also being open to evolving into what I call a ‘unividual’ … an individual who experiences unity with the universe.

What will we do? I’ll share some simple but powerful ways to change your state by ‘sensing with your psyche'. I call this ‘psysensing’ and it is how all spiritual experiences are possible. For example, you can’t see or hear the oneness of existence, but you can psysense it. You can’t see or hear another person’s psyche, but you can psysense their psyche. It is when we really focus on psysensing each other that we enter into communion together. Over the weekend you’ll experiment with a variety of easy but transformative psysensing practises, so you can find what works best for you.

Does spiritual awakening mean rejecting the body? Unividual awakening is a visceral delight in being the body. During the weekend my wife Deborah will lead ‘Sensory Meditations’ and ‘Movement Meditations’ which soften the body, helping us come to love and nurture ourselves as well as others. There will also most likely be some dancing on Saturday night when we feel like celebrating the Big Love together!

What will I learn? A hundred years ago we discovered that the universe is a process of evolution, which was unknown to our ancestors. This means all pre-evolutionary spiritual traditions are now out of date. This has led me to develop a groundbreaking evolutionary approach to spirituality, the simple essence of which I’ll explore during my Big Weekend. I call this philosophy ‘Unividualism’ because it supports what I suggest is the next big evolutionary jump for humanity … from individuals to unividuals.

Do I need to agree with you? I think Unividualism offers a beautiful, rational, inspiring understanding of being human, but I don’t expect you to agree with me. For my Big Weekend I simply invite you to try out this new approach to spirituality and see what you experience. We can debate controversial issues online later. The Big Weekend is primarily about enjoying a transformative experience while we are together in person.

Aren’t ideas in the way of spiritual awakening? Ideas are how we make sense of what we are discerning about ourselves and the world, so transforming our ideas changes our spiritual experience. For example, a unividual awakening is not about dissolving the self, it about evolving the self. It's not about arriving at a final enlightenment. There's always another level of enlivenment we we can reach towards. Realising this profoundly changes the experience of awakening.

What will I return home with? People regularly say they leave the Big Weekend with the precious memory of a Big Love experience; simple psysensing practises they can use at anytime to change state; a view of life which gives real meaning to this bittersweet adventure; and amazing new friends who’ve shared a life-changing time together.

What happens after the big weekend? On the following Sunday participants are invited to join an online meetup of The International Community of Unividuals. This enables us to reconnect, remember what we’ve experienced and check how we’ve been after the Big Weekend. People can also see if they’d like to join the ICU as a way of continuing their unividual evolution. It is a friendly group of explorers who support each other becoming ‘future people now’.

Who is Tim Freke? I’m a curious human facing the mysteries of life and death just like you. I’ve been exploring the spiritual traditions of the world since an awakening aged 12. I’ve authored 35 books including a Sunday Times bestseller and Daily Telegraph 'Book of the Year’. Then in 2013 I realised I’d been wrong about spirituality and needed to create a radically new evolutionary approach. Probably because of this I was included in ‘The 100 Most Spiritually Influential Living People’ lists in Watkins Magazine for 2021 and 2022. What is the cost for The Big Weekend? I’m not running a business, I want to contribute to the collective evolution of humanity. I’m giving away my philosophy on Youtube and I also want to gift you a place on my Big Weekend. So the minimal price just covers the costs of putting the event on. Then afterwards, when you’ve experienced our time together, if you wish, and without expectation, you can donate towards supporting me and my work. This way those with low resources can still come and those with more can donate to really make a difference, which I have found feels really good.

FRIDAY: Arrival from 18:00. Sessions 18:30 - 21:30.

SATURDAY: Sessions 10:00 - 13:00. Lunch. Sessions 15.00 - 18.00. Dinner. Session 19:30 - 21:30.

SUNDAY 10:00 - 13:00.

FOLLOWING SUNDAY: Online zoom meetup 19.30 - 21.00 

VENUE: Ia Manor House Road, Glastonbury, Somerset, BA6 9DE, UK. A spacious, light-filled annexe that is part of Tim and Deborah’s home in the centre of Glastonbury.

ACCOMMODATION: There are many BnBs within easy walking distance of the venue. There are also a Travelodge and Premier Inn on the outskirts of town. Book early to get good rates as Glastonbury is a popular tourist destination. More information HERE.

FOOD: Drinks and refreshments are provided, but no meals are included. On Saturday night so we can eat together at Timo’s restaurant which is a short walk away in Glastonbury. There will be a buffet suitable for varied diets including a drink for £20.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel at least one month before the weekend you will be refunded less a £40 processing fee.
