Them bones, them bones, them dry bones! We've got skulls by the mountain and bones by the yard! As the nights draw close, open the door of your advent calendar and find something entirely unexpected gazing back at you!
Hear tales of travelers that encounter talking skulls, bleached from long exposure to the sun. Meet confusing cadavers that speak in wild riddles. Listen as skeletons dance across the icy tundra. We'll explore the facts and folklore of bones both human and animal, from cellars stuffed with horse skulls to the mysterious misidentification of unearthed fossils, all with gusto, glee and a soupçon of the grotesque.
Join us for a night of stories of skulls and bones: creepy or comic, magical or macabre - like it or not, they're part of you. Storytellers Tim Ralphs and Jon Norman-Mason lay on a feast of folktales and legends from around the world, celebrating the skeletal, the ghoulish and the relics of lives past and present.
TIM RALPHS hosts Beeston Tales in Nottinghamshire, founded The Story Forge in Sheffield and picked up a British Award for Storytelling Excellence in 2012.
