This workshop is presented by Kyle Watson (Titley Scientific US Sales Manager). Running 30 minutes, it will provide a short and sweet introduction to recording ultrasound for bat surveys.
We will cover:
- Basic physics of ultrasonic sound
- Understanding bat calls as ultrasonic sound
- How bat detectors work
- Considerations for recording ultrasound
This online workshop is run via ZOOM. There is time for a brief Q and A session to ensure you have your tricky or specific questions answered, and provides resources you can use after the workshop to further improve your skills or get additional help.
Places are limited and you must register beforehand. This workshop is recommended for anyone new to recording bat calls or those interested in a refresher on the basics of ultrasound.
