MUSIC | OPUS ONE | A CLASSICAL CONCERT

An Afternoon of Music Benefiting the Théâtre du Lycée Français de San Francisco

Opus One is delighted to invite you to an inspiring afternoon of music at the Théâtre du Lycée Français de San Francisco (TLF) on the 27th of September, beginning at 2:00pm.

This special performance celebrates the Opus One International Prize for Composition, a unique partnership between Opus One and the Fontainebleau Schools of Music and Fine Arts dedicated to nurturing emerging composers and fostering cultural exchange through music.

The concert will feature talented young musicians whose artistry reflects the creativity, collaboration, and spirit of discovery at the heart of the prize. Audiences will experience music shaped by the landscape, art and architecture of both the Château de Fontainebleau and Opus One, including original compositions born from the Opus One composer in residency program. Through these performances, the next generation of composers and musicians share their unique voices while continuing a transatlantic dialogue between art, place, and inspiration.

The afternoon highlights the international spirit that connects Opus One, the Château de Fontainebleau, and the vibrant Franco-American community of the San Francisco Bay Area. Through music, education, and cultural exchange, these institutions are united by a shared commitment to excellence and the belief that creativity transcends borders.

The Lycée Français de San Francisco, home to the TLF, is an independent Franco-American international school rooted in California and open to the world.
