Tongue & Groove #3
Tongue & Groove are a Leeds-based, community-focused dance party with a highlight on food, music and Hi–Fi. We aim to recreate what we love most about being at a great house party whilst keeping the invite open to all. We are inspired by the loft party scene started at David Mancuso's Loft in New York on Valentine's Day 1970.
We're delighted to be back to dance with you all again and cannot thank everyone enough for the overwhelming reaction to our 2025 parties! The sun, the food, the music and the company all came together to create something extremely special and we're so excited to do it all again.

The Venue
We're so excited to be returning to The Attic, it's blend of indoor and outdoor spaces are welcoming, cosy and most importantly have plenty of space to dance. With excellent room acoustics for the music combined with quieter areas away from the dancefloor - we can't wait to get back in there for a dance.
The Food & Drink
We love a party that starts and finishes a little earlier, offering the space to sit down for the first couple of hours and share a meal together with old and new faces.
Some delicious Vegan food will be on offer until 7.30pm, so please consider purchasing a ‘food & party’ ticket to enjoy some dinner with your fellow party-goers. Food will be available to purchase on the night itself but booking a food ticket in advance guarantees you a plate.
The Attic will be providing a fully licensed bar for the night serving up a selection of tasty alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

The Music
Listen to the recordings of party #1 and #2 if you'd like to get a flavour of what you can expect to hear at Tongue and Groove. We've got some surprises to announce soon, but trust us when we say it is going to sound delicious!

The Night
We are committed to making Tongue & Groove an accessible, welcoming and safe space for everyone in the community which is why we are offering a ‘Pay it forward’ ticket option. If you are willing and able to support our community in this way then it would be greatly appreciated.
If purchasing a ticket is a barrier to you attending Tongue & Groove, then please get in touch with us at tongueandgroove@just-land.com and we will sort it - no questions asked.
Families are welcome from 4:30-8:00PM and kids tickets are free, remember to book slots for little ones when purchasing your tickets just so we can keep an idea of numbers. We also have a 'Family ticket' option which admits two adults, little ones and includes food too.
We believe a dancefloor is at its most magical when everyone is in the moment - so please, no phones out on the dance floor. The Attic has lots of quieter areas for photos, shazaming etc. and plus… not everyone likes having their photo taken!

Get Involved
We aim to create a free environment for the shared enjoyment of music, food, dancing, play, silliness, connection and love. If there’s any way that you’d like to be involved in Tongue and Groove to help with this then we’d love to hear from you!
As well as our main parties at The Attic, we also have a monthly residency at Number 8 in Meanwood where our residents play lots of lovely tunes! If you've got records that you'd love people to hear or just want to give DJing a try - do get in touch!
We appreciate that not everybody chooses to get their information through social media and as such encourage you to join our mailing list. Email us at tongueandgroove@just-land.com and we’ll be sure to add you so you never miss an update in the future.
