After last year’s vibrant and exciting 'Apprentice Takeover’, for our Breakfast meeting on 6th February, we are delighted to return to South Devon College’s Horizons Restaurant in celebration of National Apprenticeship Week.

Showcasing the next generation of local employees, South Devon College’s apprentices will be taking over the business breakfast event which usually attracts about 70 delegates. The apprentices will be responsible for every area - from planning and logistics to hosting and more importantly creating and serving the delicious breakfast too - gaining valuable practical experience.

After a welcome from Principal and CEO Laurence Frewin, Ben Pountney will give a short talk on the Experiences of a Mature Apprentice before hosting a panel discussion with local employers and apprentices from Pennon, NHS and Morgan Sindall to share their experience of the programme.

It is so action packed that there is a slightly earlier arrival time of 7.45am - and of course everyone interested in local business is welcome
