The TBF’s May breakfast meeting will have a double act of Simon Tonge and Pippa Craddock from Paignton Zoo, Living Coasts and Newquay Zoo. As registered charities, the passion for saving the planet's wildlife has to be balanced with sound business practises, and Simon and Pippa will be highlighting:

• The importance of Partnerships

Simon knew from a very young age that he wanted to run a zoo. After taking a degree in zoology, he became a keeper at Jersey Zoo before studying accountancy.  He was Senior Curator at London Zoo and then joined Paignton Zoo Environmental Park as Executive Director in 2000. His mix of animal experience, conservation knowledge and financial management training has stood him in good stead for his current demanding role.

As Director of Marketing & Development, Pippa has strategic marketing and fundraising responsibility for all 3 zoos.  She is also a Non Executive Director for the English Riviera BID Company and was also Vice Chair of the English Riviera Attractions Partnership for 8 years.

Network over a glass of juice on arrival at 7.30 before a full English Breakfast at 7.50am, listen to the guest speaker from 8.20am and finish by 9am. Everyone interested in local business is welcome.

£12.50 for the breakfast, networking and free parking.

• Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
  Yes, if you can't make it at the last minute pass the ticket on to a colleague.
• Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
  Yes; You need to display it in your car to avoid paying to park, we don't need it at the registration desk.
• What is the refund policy?
  Final Numbers have to be given to the RICC by the Monday morning proceeding the event. So, sorry but no refund after Friday evening I'm afraid.
