Bid Writing Club

Join us at the Torbay Business Centre for our next Bid Writing Club! This in-person gathering is the perfect opportunity to enhance your bid writing skills. Connect with like-minded individuals, share experiences, and learn valuable tips from industry experts. Don't miss out on this chance to boost your success rate and take your bid writing to the next level! Available to all Torbay businesses and VCSE organisations.

The first part of the session will be hosted by Kim Thornton, Business Advisor who will look at the new Torbay Enterprise Fund, which includes:

• Grants of up to £3,000 for Start-up businesses
• Grants of up to £5,000 for the improvement of retail businesses (note, the grant needs to be matched pound for pound and will be available to any qualifying business within a defined town centre location across the Bay.)

The second part of the session will see JoJo Ramsden, Senior Economic Development Officer looking at Immersive Arts Funding, over £3.6million funding available between 2024 and 2027, supporting UK-based artists through three strands:

• Explore £5,000
• Experiment £20,000
• Expand £50,000

Each strand is designed to support artists at different stages in their creative development with immersive technologies.
