Giuseppe Macina Operatic Voices Competition - 2026

To honour the legacy of our founder and further our mission of championing the Canadian opera artists of tomorrow, Toronto City Opera is producing our third annual Giuseppe Macina Operatic Voices Competition.

• Jennifer Tung, Conductor, Artistic Director, Toronto City Opera

Tickets are only $20 general admission.$2.50 Booking fee. No HST

COMPETITION HIGHLIGHTS

• Monetary prizes to be distributed at the discretion of the adjudicators

• Future performance contracts with Toronto City Opera 

• Contestants will be judged by a panel of Canadian opera professionals.

This exciting event will include an opportunity for the audience to vote for an Audience Choice Prize and is sure to become an annual highlight for the Toronto classical music community.
