Suitable for mixed audiences 18+ / wildly suitable for 55+

You were wild once, don’t let them tame you.’ – Isadora Duncan (1877-1927)

A darkly comedic brew of songs, chants, spoken word, poetry, spells and twisted fairytales with a dash of punk, recasting the Older Woman as an unbridled force of nature. The oven gloves are off!

Bohemian punk, mystical feminist and grandmother, Rina Vergano, conjures up the fiery spirit of the Older Woman in all her aspects: soothsayer, witchetty crone, freedom fighter and nature goddess. A darkly edgy and comical mash-up of poems, songs, chants, rants and deconstructed fairytales, performed solo and underscored on harmonium. Come and fall under her spell…

‘A powerful stage presence with laugh-out-loud charm and humour. The music gives it an epic feel and her timing is hilarious.’ ***** (Exeunt)

‘This seasoned performer stirs up a dark cauldron of stories, poems, songs and spoken word. Dip in… if you dare.’ ***** (Bristol 24/7)

“Calm down, dear!” (The Patriarchy)

“Well made and good value for money.” (Witch? Best Buy)
