The not so small print......
Names on Ticket – You must use your legal name on your ticket for it to be valid. Please do not use N/A, a scene name or a pseudonym as this will invalidate your ticket without a refund. We will check the ticket name against your ID/membership on arrival. Be assured that only the duty manager will see your ID and if you prefer to be known as another name, this will be noted on our system and you be known as that name going forward.
Times - Doors open at 8pm and the venue closes at 1am; first time guests need to arrive before 9.30pm. Established members can arrive up until 10:30pm, when we lock our doors.
Deposit – We ask everyone to pay a £10 bar tab deposit on arrival and this must be paid in CASH. The £10 will be offset against your bar bill when you leave the club.
Membership - Memberships are £10 per person and are paid annually in cash. New couples and ladies must join on their first visit, unless paying a one off visit from outside of the Northwest; this visit will be logged and if they attend again in the future, they will need to pay for membership. Single guy memberships are not handed out on their first visit, please see our Membership page on the website for more information. We offer TGirl tickets for those holding a TGirl membership only. Following several queries, for clarification, if you are a trans female, you purchase a single female ticket, not a Tgirl ticket! Similarly, trans males should purchase a single male ticket. Our non binary guests are asked to contact sarah@townhouseswingers.com to make membership arrangements. Please see the membership page on our website for info on our new biometrics membership system..
Couples – We do not allow people to “couple up” to attend events together as a couple, our couples tickets are for genuine couples in established relationships – those found to be breaching this rule will have all future tickets cancelled which will not be refunded and we will suspend your membership. Gender does not define a couple at Townhouse.
Single Guys – Single guys must only attend alone, we do not allow single guys to attend together or in groups and you will be refused entry.
ID - We prefer a driving licence for ID but will accept a passport and recent bill/official letter; the latter can be electronic. If you do not hold a passport or driving licence, then 2 official letters/utility bills/bank statement dated in the last 3 months are also acceptable. Both members of a couple must have ID if they are not current members.
Cancellations – If you cannot make an event, please email us as soon as possible to let us know info@townhouseswingers.com. Tickets are not refundable or transferable to other people or events, so please only book when you are 100% certain you can make it. If you ‘no show’ for an event and don’t contact us to cancel before the start of the event, you will receive a strike. Please see our 3 strikes rule on our website.
Parking – Please do not park on Bookers car park or on Union Street. You may park on the Maritime carpark over the road at the side of the A41 – people parking here do so at their own risk as we do not accept any responsibility for vehicles or property left in this car park and it is not covered by our CCTV.
Card Payments – Please note we do not accept American Express payments. We have a £5 minimum spend for all card payments.
Please go to our website for our dress code, rules and etiquette and tons of other useful info.
