This Bank Holiday we’re bringing you the latest instalment of Newbies and Notso’s and turning Townhouse into the main tent, complete with summer festival energy. 

Think sunshine (fingers crossed!) the best company, live music, cocktails, and the perfect excuse to make the most of the long weekend. 

We’ll have the three piece band Cover Story bringing pop-rock summer anthems and their infectious energy to our live lounge. Get ready to dance and sing to the nostalgic songs of last summer and perhaps discover some newer top 40 bangers.

Grab a drink at The Tipsy Unicorn bar, gather round for ice-breaker games, capture the memories in our selfie zone, take your summer fling upstairs or simply kick back and soak up the festival-inspired vibes.

Never been before, or new to the lifestyle and wondering where to begin?

Relax. Our friendly hosts, buddies, staff and club veterans will be on hand throughout the event to answer questions, make introductions, or simply help you settle in. We get it. You're probably curious, excited, nervous... This is the perfect event to jump in and get involved. We pride ourselves on creating a fun, welcoming and zero-pressure atmosphere. Always.

We've got everything you need for an unforgettable Bank Holiday! But Townhouse is nothing without you! So get ready to bring your best summer energy and let's make this long weekend one to remember.

THE CLUB 

Townhouse is the perfect place to start your journey into the lifestyle, with a relaxed, no-pressure atmosphere where the focus is on being yourself, meeting great people, and truly letting your desires flow. 

Spread across four floors, Townhouse is packed with unique spaces, all spotlessly clean, beautifully lit, and filled with music to keep the summer party vibes flowing from day into night. Whether you're soaking up the atmosphere or letting your inhibitions loose upstairs, there's always something happening around every corner to keep you entertained. 

Our Tipsy Unicorn Bar, Live Lounge and Garden are the heart of any event, and Newbies and Notso's is no exception. Bringing together live music, festival-inspired energy, and plenty of opportunities to connect with new faces. Cold drinks, a warm evening, friendly faces, all to the soundtrack of summer party anthems. Is there a better way to draw the summer to a close?!

RULES (these ones aren’t made to be broken) 

Please note that last entry for non-members is 9:30pm. This gives our lovely buddies plenty of time to show you around Townhouse and help you settle in before the evening really gets into full swing.

We're not an immediate dress-down club, and if you've visited before you'll know our guests love an excuse to dress up. From 10:30pm onwards, dress down becomes compulsory on the upstairs play floors.

For the dress code, it’s summer! Go with whatever vibe you feel the most comfortable in. Whether that’s a boho glasto look or heading to the pub garden. It’s your night after all.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not allow sports or workout trainers, tracksuits, sportswear, ripped jeans, workwear, or Ugg boots.

We have a new membership system, so if you are brand new or an old member who hasn't signed up to the new system yet, you will need to bring two forms of ID with you and a £10 CASH membership fee which is paid yearly.

The not so small print......
Names on Ticket - For safety, the name on your ticket MUST match the name on your ID. Please do not use ‘N/A’, a scene name or a pseudonym as this will invalidate your ticket. The only person who will see the name on your ticket is the staff member checking you in. Respect and privacy are important to us. We understand that the name on your ID may not be the name you use.

Times - Doors open at 8:00pm and the venue closes at 2:00am. First-time guests must arrive by 9:00pm. Established members may arrive up until 10:30pm, when the doors are locked.

Deposit -Everyone is required to pay a £10 bar tab deposit in cash upon arrival. This deposit will be deducted from your final bar bill when you leave.

Membership - Membership is £10 per person, paid annually in cash. New couples and single ladies must join on their first visit, unless it is a one-off visit from outside the North West, in which case the visit will be logged. If you return in the future, you will be required to purchase membership. Single guys are not granted membership on their first visit. Please refer to our Membership page for more details.

Gender and Ticketing -Trans women should purchase a single female ticket, not a Gender Diverse ticket. Trans men should purchase a single male ticket. Gender Diverse tickets are only for those with a Gender Diverse membership. We define this as anyone who expresses their gender differently, but does not identify as Trans, (a previous name for this has been TGirl.) Non-binary guests are asked to contact: sarah@townhouseswingers.com to arrange membership.

Couples -We do not allow people to “couple up” just to attend an event together. Couples tickets are for genuine, established couples. Anyone found breaching this rule will have all future tickets cancelled (non-refundable) and their membership suspended. Couples can be of any gender, what matters is that you are in a committed relationship and attending as a genuine couple.

Single Guys - Single guys must attend alone. Groups or pairs of single guys will be refused entry.

ID - We prefer a driving licence for ID, but we also accept: A passport and a recent bill/official letter (electronic format is acceptable). If you do not hold a passport or driving licence, you may bring two official letters/utility bills/bank statements, dated within the last 3 months. Both members of a couple must provide ID if they are not current members.

Cancellations - If you can’t make it, please email us as soon as possible: info@townhouseswingers.com. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, so only book if you're 100% certain you can attend. If you no-show without informing us before the event begins, you will receive a strike. See our website for details on the 3 strikes rule.

Parking - Please do not park in Booker’s car park or on Union Street. You may park in the Maritime car park across the road, next to the A41.
Note: Parking here is at your own risk. We are not responsible for any vehicles or property left in this car park, and it is not covered by our CCTV.

Card Payments - We do not accept American Express payments. We have a £5 minimum spend for all card payments.
